Seafood Processing & Marine Refrigeration

Onboard freezing and cold storage, planned together.

Jinduo manufactures refrigeration equipment for fishing-vessel projects. Freezing duty, fish-hold temperatures and available onboard space guide the equipment package.

Cold spaces, connected

From the freezing room to the fish hold.

The catch follows a cold chain onboard. Refrigeration spaces, machinery and seawater connections need to work within the vessel’s arrangement.

01Quick-freezing rooms
Freeze the catch in batches with refrigeration arranged around the product and loading method.
02Refrigerated fish holds
Maintain the required storage temperature after freezing, with coolers and coils suited to the hold.
03Refrigeration machinery
Place compressor packages and pressure components around access, pipe routes and machinery space.
04Seawater cooling
Reject refrigeration heat through seawater-cooled condensers and the vessel’s cooling-water circuit.
05Monitoring & controls
Coordinate refrigeration operation, temperature monitoring, alarms and vessel interfaces.

Understand the refrigeration system

The equipment behind the cooling duty.

Follow the refrigerant from compression and heat rejection to the freezing rooms and fish holds. The equipment arrangement connects each duty to a coordinated refrigeration plant.

Refrigeration plant

01Screw-compressor package
Compresses the returning refrigerant vapour. Package selection follows the freezing and storage duties.
02Seawater condenser
Transfers heat from the refrigerant to seawater through a shell-and-tube heat exchanger.
03Receiver & filtration
Provides liquid-refrigerant storage and filtration before distribution to the cooling spaces.
04 / 06

Refrigerant distribution

04Liquid distribution
Valves and expansion devices regulate refrigerant supply to the evaporators.
06Suction return & separation
Returns refrigerant vapour to the compressor, with separation arranged for the selected system.
05 / 07

Cooling & monitoring

05Freezing racks & hold coolers
Remove heat from the product and storage spaces using the agreed racks, air coolers and coils.
07PLC monitoring
Monitors temperatures and refrigeration status, with alarms and agreed vessel interfaces.
