Jinduo Project Case Study

27 m³/h Two-Stage Chilled-Water System at 0°C

Jinduo designed and supplied this containerized two-stage chilled-water system for a batching plant in Hong Kong. A flooded evaporator cools water from ambient temperature to 4°C before a submerged dry-expansion evaporator lowers it to 0°C at a design flow of 27 m³/h.

This page presents Jinduo’s confirmed role and approved facts from a real project. The client name and sensitive commercial details are withheld to protect confidentiality.

Project Overview

Jinduo designed and supplied this containerized two-stage chilled-water system for a batching plant in Hong Kong. Unlike typical commercial chiller systems used locally, the first stage uses a flooded evaporator to cool water from ambient temperature to 4°C. A submerged dry-expansion evaporator then lowers the water temperature to 0°C. The system is designed for a flow rate of 27 m³/h.

These figures are design and purchase requirements. They are not presented as measured performance, commissioning, acceptance, or current-operation results.

Project Requirement

The process was designed in two stages to supply 0°C water at 27 m³/h for batching operations: initial cooling from ambient temperature to 4°C, followed by final cooling from 4°C to 0°C.

Confirmed Jinduo Supply Scope

Jinduo’s project scope covered the design and supply of a containerized two-stage chilled-water system, including the flooded first-stage evaporator, submerged dry-expansion second-stage evaporator, refrigeration packages, vessels, circulation equipment, controls, and interconnecting pipework.

System Configuration

The first-stage flooded evaporator cools the incoming water from ambient temperature to 4°C. The submerged dry-expansion evaporator then completes the second cooling stage to 0°C. The containerized arrangement coordinates the refrigeration packages, vessels, circulation equipment, local controls, interconnecting pipework, and heat-rejection equipment.

Photographed Equipment

Selected project photographs provide overall and equipment-level views of the equipment arrangement. They show the platform, heat-rejection equipment, staged refrigeration packages, vessels, circulation equipment, insulated lines, and local controls.

The photographs establish the visible equipment arrangement only. They do not establish measured flow, outlet temperature, cooling capacity, energy use, commissioning, acceptance, or current operation.

Project Photo Gallery

The gallery presents five selected project views: the equipment platform, outdoor equipment module, first-stage equipment, second-stage equipment, and vessel-and-pipework detail.

Design-Basis Note

The confirmed system design basis is a 27 m³/h flow rate with two-stage cooling to 0°C. The stated temperatures and flow describe the project configuration; individual HMI photographs remain point-in-time operating views rather than a substitute for a full performance report.
